Elva Mamani stammered and tearfully recounted what had happened to her husband. Her face was distorted, as if she were about to faint. The pain has not left her since that night, the last night she spent with her now deceased husband,Gabriel Lopez.
The night he died, Elva left her children at home and spent the night next to her husband’s body.
“I woke up with him. I’m still very sad. I couldn’t even speak, it seemed like a dream. It was very sad, we never thought they could kill us like that.” Elva said. Her cry is the same as the other families: “Justice.”
