Sculpture in tribute to the true heroes of the pandemic tours Redwood City

Coronavirus sculpture by Redwood City-based Mexican artist Fernando Escártiz, supported by Japanese artist Yoshinori Asai and the creative group of the art class of Casa Círculo Cultural.

The red-eyed, angry coronavirus looked down on the superheroes that threaten its existence. In the center and almost on the virus' forehead, Wonder Woman dressed in blue and white to represent doctors and nurses. 

The green coronavirus with pink had on it, 5 super heroes representing the ethnic diversity of the people who have faced the virus from their different professions and trades.
