San Mateo County celebrates "Welcome Week" with services to immigrants

San Mateo celebrates "Welcome Week".

The San Mateo County Office of Community Affairs is celebrating “Welcome Week” 2022 from September 9-18, which is a campaign to showcase the movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for everyone, including migrants.

Launched in 2012 by Welcoming America and its members in the United States, Welcoming Week is now a global movement that brings together communities and neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of inclusive places.
