Telecommunications company Verizon said it is aware of the problem affecting thousands of telephone users in the country, arguing that it is already working on a solution to the situation.
"We are aware of an issue affecting service to some customers. Our engineers are working rapidly to identify and resolve the issue," the company wrote on its X account.
Thousands of Verizon telephone customers took to the Internet and social networks to report that they had no telephone service, among other problems, which occurred since the morning of September 30.
