The reason for the outages can be complex, as they state that \"multiple factors come into play when deciding to interrupt your power supply and the decision is taken very seriously\". In addition, they clarify that \"attempts are made to notify affected customers by phone, text and email\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The counties that could be affected by such preemptive outages are: <strong>Alameda<\/strong>, <strong>Amador<\/strong>, <strong>Butte<\/strong>, <strong>Skulls<\/strong>, <strong>Against Costa<\/strong>, <strong>El Dorado<\/strong>, <strong>Humboldt<\/strong>, <strong>Lake<\/strong>, <strong>Monterey<\/strong>, <strong>Napa<\/strong>, <strong>Nevada<\/strong>, <strong>Pleasure<\/strong>, <strong>Feathers<\/strong>, <strong>Saint Matthew<\/strong>, <strong>Santa Clara<\/strong>, <strong>Santa Cruz<\/strong>, <strong>Shasta<\/strong>, <strong>Sierra<\/strong>, <strong>Solano<\/strong>, <strong>Sonoma<\/strong>, <strong>Tehama<\/strong>, <strong>Trinity<\/strong>, <strong>Yolo<\/strong>, <strong>Yuba<\/strong>.
