Her 54-year-old grandfather disappeared into the ocean trying to find her and had not been found as of Wednesday, according to the coroner&#039;s office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The U.S. Coast Guard called off the search for the man after about 22 hours, after covering about 100 square miles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biorato was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That day, the National Weather Service had warned of an increased risk from dangerous swells known as sneaker waves or sleeper waves, which are disproportionately large coastal waves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>You may be interested in: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/peninsula360press.com\/en\/houses\/\">Homeowners in vulnerable communities could lose their homes due to misinformation<\/a><\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Por Bay City News.
