San Mateo County Sheriff's detectives arrested a man suspected of a Saturday night shooting at an apartment complex south of Half Moon Bay, where one man was injured.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

On January 20, at approximately 7:09 p.m., San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting near Tea Rd. and Pear Orchard Way, in the Moonridge Housing Community, located on the Coast. Unincorporated San Mateo County, just south of Half Moon Bay.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon arrival, a male victim was located suffering from gunshot wounds and was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation has led detectives to believe this was an isolated incident, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Working through the night, detectives were able to identify Orlando Montelongo Chavar\u00edn as a suspect in this case.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In response, an arrest warrant was issued against Montelongo Chavar\u00edn on Sunday, January 21. The suspect was located shortly after the warrant was issued and arrested without incident.<\/span><\/p>\n
