The Redwood Shores Branch Library wants to hear the voices of the community, so it has called on all Redwood City residents to community event<\/a> in order to monitor its progress and collect opinions on the future of the playground.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will take place next Thursday, April 25th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at 399 Marine Parkway in Redwood City.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to continue our dialogue with the wonderful residents of Redwood Shores and beyond! Following two successful community outreach opportunities earlier this year, we are back to offer more ideas and gather your valuable input,\u201d the library said in a statement.<\/span><\/p>\n

At this upcoming event, he noted, the overall concept of the plan will be explored in more depth, an update will be provided on the progress made, and a focus will be placed on gathering feedback on the features of the playground in order to create two renders of the playground for future discussion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Organizers encourage you to bring your questions, ideas and enthusiasm, as the library team will be ready to listen, answer your questions and engage in meaningful conversations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And, he said, resident input is crucial to shaping the future of community spaces, as they will have the opportunity to highlight the amenities and play area features that are most important to children, whether it's swings and interactive installations or the presence of public art and shade structures, their preferences will guide our decision-making process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previous public input sessions have been held on January 20 at the Redwood Shores Library and on February 6 at the Sandpiper Community Center, where discussions were held about the plan and the future of the community playground.<\/span><\/p>\n
