Comenzar\u00e1 \u00aba mediados de diciembre\u00bb, dijo Newsom, luego de que anunciara una nueva orden de confinamiento en casa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">VACCINE UPDATE: CA will be receiving 327k doses of the new Pfizer <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#COVID19<\/a> vaccine in mid December.<br><br>The Drafting Guidelines Workgroup &amp; Community Advisory Committee have now finalized recommendations for who will receive these initial doses.<br><br>We have prioritized into 3 tiers:<\/p>- Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GavinNewsom\/status\/1334605783628095489?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">December 3, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>327,000 doses of the <a href=\"https:\/\/peninsula360press.com\/en\/usworld\/covid-19-vaccine-from-pfizer-would-be-approved-for-emergency-use-now-it-is-95-effective\/\">Pfizer vaccine<\/a> in the 6 regions of California; likewise, Newsom pointed out that, starting this Friday, the regions will begin to place orders according to need in their three stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Region I: 126,750 doses.<\/li><li>Region II: 80,497 doses.<\/li><li>Region III: 8,592 doses.<\/li><li>Region IV: 35,145 doses.<\/li><li>Region V: 16,706 doses<\/li><li>Region VI: 59,910 doses.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The vaccination plan will consist of 3 stages, the first of which I feel is the most important:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Intensive care, psychiatric and correctional hospitals.<\/li><li>Skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and similar environments for the elderly or medically vulnerable.<\/li><li>Paramedics, paramedics and others who provide emergency medical services.<\/li><li>Dialysis centers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Intermediate care facilities.<\/li><li>Home health care and support services<\/li><li>Community health workers.<\/li><li>Public health personnel in the field.<\/li><li>Primary care clinics: Rural health centers, correctional facilities clinics and urgent care clinics.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 3, other settings and other health workers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Specialized clinics.<\/li><li>Laboratory workers.<\/li><li>Dental and oral health clinics.<\/li><li>Pharmacy staff who do not work at higher levels<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both the distribution and application of the COVID-19 vaccines will be logistically challenging because, as mentioned, refrigerated containers at very low temperatures are needed to keep the doses safe, but Newsom is confident that after the first part of the application, the work will be efficient from start to finish over the next few months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is expected that <a href=\"https:\/\/peninsula360press.com\/en\/usworld\/covid-19-modern-apply-for-use-of-vaccine-emergency\/\">Modern, who also issued an emergency authorization request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA),<\/a> also assist in the production, distribution, storage and application of your vaccine as long as the state of California is ready.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cristian Carlos.
