Gavin Newsom announced a new lottery of <em>Vax for the Win<\/em>. On July 1, all Californians 18 and older who are vaccinated will have a chance to win one of six vacation packages to Anaheim, Greater Palm Springs, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Call <em>California Dream Vacations, e<\/em>n partnership with <em>Visit California, <\/em>the purpose of the raffle is to thank Californians who have been vaccinated and at the same time encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Californians selected in the Dream Vacations sweepstakes will also receive $2,000 for their travel expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"This epic vacation is just a sampling of the infinite variety of experiences California has to offer,\" said Caroline Beteta, president and CEO of <em>Visit California.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"The state's travel industry is rolling out the red carpet to travelers. With COVID-19 at historically low rates in the state, now is the time to travel to California,\" he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The six travel packages are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best of Anaheim Package for four<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Greater Palm Spring Luxury Package for two<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Premium Los Angeles experience for four<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dream San Diego Beach Vacation for Four<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Downtown San Diego Dream Vacation for Four<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>San Francisco \"Our Gate Is Open\" Welcome Package for Four<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The \"dream vacations\" were selected by the San Francisco Travel Association, the Greater Palm Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau, Visit Anaheim, the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, the San Diego Tourism Authority, and tourism businesses across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"The travel industry has provided shelter during the pandemic for frontline workers and the homeless,\" Beteta added. \"After all our state has been through, it's heartwarming to see them give back again.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As with the cash prize drawings for the <em>Vax for the Win,<\/em> the winners of <em>Dream Vacations <\/em>will be selected at random from the pool of eligible Californians and will not be announced initially to protect your privacy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Californians will need to complete their vaccinations in order to claim their dream vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Details about the packages of <em>Dream Vacations s<\/em>e can be found at covid19.ca.gov\/vax-for-the-win\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, Newsom proposed a $95 million investment to help California's tourism economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the height of the pandemic, California lost nearly half of its 1.2 million jobs in the hospitality and tourism industries, and with the support of the governor's investment, it is estimated that more than 300,000 jobs can be recovered within a year. \"As we move toward a post-pandemic life, our tourism sector is expected to return to a post-pandemic life,\" he said. <em>roaring,<\/em> making us, once again, a world leader in hospitality and recreation,\" said the governor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You may be interested in: <a href=\"https:\/\/peninsula360press.com\/en\/million-dollar-lottery-in-california-for-those-who-get-vaccinated-against-covid-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Million-Dollar Sweepstakes in California for COVID-19 Vaccine Recipients<\/a><\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>*El gobernador Newsom propuso una inversi\u00f3n por 95 millones de d\u00f3lares para ayudar a la econom\u00eda tur\u00edstica de California El gobernador Gavin Newsom anunci\u00f3 un nuevo sorteo de Vax for the Win.
