Telecommunications company Verizon said it is aware of the problem affecting thousands of telephone users in the country, arguing that it is already working on a solution to the situation.
"We are aware of an issue affecting service to some customers. Our engineers are working quickly to identify and resolve the issue," the company wrote on its X account.
Verizon mobile phone customers took to the Internet and social media to report that they had no phone service, among other problems, which occurred since the morning of September 30.

Although there is no specific report on the impact in the Bay Area from Verizon, readers of Peninsula 360 Press have reported disruptions to their telephone services, which extends the impact to the state of California, and not just to the city of Los Angeles, as the telecommunications company had mentioned.
