Listen to this note:
There is no deadline that is not met, nor a date that is not reached. This Tuesday, November 5, the general elections will be held in the country; however, it should not be forgotten that there are also decisions to be made at the state and local level.
Important data
Register to vote or update your voter registration information at www.registertovote.ca.gov.
If you miss the registration deadline, you still have options to vote. Contact the San Mateo County Elections Office for information about Conditional Voter Registration, available between October 22 and November 5.
Voters without a fixed address are encouraged to register by providing a description of where they live, including the streets that cross them. This allows the county election office to issue you a ballot that includes all the races you can vote in based on where you live.
If you have questions about voter registration or to request a paper voter registration application, please contact the San Mateo County Elections Office.
Ways to vote
