A man was killed by a hit-and-run driver Sunday morning in East Palo Alto.

Police say they were dispatched to the 2200 block of Ralmar Avenue at 10:08 a.m. with reports that a man had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

Officers found an unconscious 64-year-old man in the driveway of a residence. Three nearby vehicles were also hit and damaged.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he later died. Police did not release the man's name.

The vehicle that police believe struck the man was found a block away, where it had collided with two other vehicles and a fence.

Authorities have asked anyone with information about the driver or the collisions to contact Commander David Carson at (650) 853-3160.
