Open call for community journalism workshop

Peninsula 360 Press opens the call to participate in the third community journalism workshop. On this occasion, the workshop will be held in a hybrid mode and will last 20 hours spread over different days of the week.

Workshop participants will develop writing and photographic journalistic skills, which will be developed in three modules with different themes.

The themes of these modules are: Stop The Hate, environment and a story of personal experience.

The result of each module will aim to make an exhibition of the work of each of the attendees.

This workshop is possible thanks to the support of Silicon Valley Community Foundation and Casa Circulo Cultural.

Dates you must know to take the community journalism workshop:

Start of the workshop in April.  

Days the workshop is taught: Monday and Wednesday (the first two sessions will be via zoom 50 minutes).

Workshop hours: 6:30 pm (50 minutes for each session).

Topics by modules:

Module 1: Stop the Hate Stories (first two sessions via Zoom)

Module 2: Environmental stories (face-to-face)

Module 3: Non-fiction personal chronicle (face-to-face)
