The Stanford Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, has launched its Study on Healthy Brain Aging, in which it seeks to include the Latino community, with the goal of learning more about the impact of diseases such as Alzheimer's, dementia and other age-related disorders, which is why they call for participation.
Dr. Victor Henderson, director of the Stanford Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, told Pensula 360 Press that the main goal of this study is to provide an infrastructure related to diseases like Alzheimer's, not necessarily specifically, as well as other age-related disorders that can affect memory and the brain.
In light of this, we are looking for volunteers to help develop resources to increase understanding of these disorders and provide early detection, effective treatment and effective prevention.
