
detectives of the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office A man was arrested on suspicion of a gun attack Saturday night at an apartment complex south of Half Moon Bay that left one man injured.
On January 20, at approximately 7:09 p.m., San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting near Tea Rd. and Pear Orchard Way, in the Moonridge Housing Community, located on the Coast. Unincorporated San Mateo County, just south of Half Moon Bay.
Upon arrival, a male victim was located suffering from gunshot wounds and was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation has led detectives to believe this was an isolated incident, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
Working through the night, detectives were able to identify Orlando Montelongo Chavarín as a suspect in this case.
In response, an arrest warrant was issued against Montelongo Chavarín on Sunday, January 21. The suspect was located shortly after the warrant was issued and arrested without incident.
