The City of Redwood City is inviting all of its residents to provide feedback and suggestions to shape the redesign of Hoover Park.
Hoover Park, located between Woodside Rd, Spring St, Charter St and Hilton St, is in need of renovation, as some of the park's amenities date back to 1966 with several updates in the last 57 years.
The pool facility has seen minimal use over the last decade and a new use of the space is possible, the council noted.
Redevelopment opportunities include a sprinkler play feature, larger playground, picnic areas with trees, road and surface improvements as well as parking, and improved access to the park from Spring St, Hilton St and the sports fields.
To learn more and participate in the Hoover Park Master Plan, those interested can attend the meeting that will take place next Thursday, January 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club, located at 2100 Spring St. This event will be in English.
