It's today, get ready for the "National Night Out" in Redwood City

Residents of Redwood City This Tuesday you can enjoy National Night Out, an annual community building event that promotes partnerships between police, residents and neighborhood camaraderie. 

National Night Out seeks to improve the relationship between neighbors and the police, as well as foster Redwood City's sense of community.

Millions of neighbors participate in the National Night throughout the country in thousands of communities. Neighborhoods host parties, festivals, cookouts, and various other community events with safety demos, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits, and much more.

So, this Tuesday, August 1, everyone from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. will be able to enjoy this annual event in different parts of the city. 

  • Centennial and Center ? Neighborhood joint event? – Location: Mezes Park
  • Central – Location: Red Morton Park
  • Palm Park and Stambaugh-Heller ?Joint Neighborhood Event? – Location: Palm Park
  • Redwood Shores – Location: Redwood Shores Library
  • Redwood Village – Location: Flynn Avenue, between Greenwood and Flynn
  • Woodside Plaza – Location: Maddux Park
  • Sandpiper Lagoon HOA – Location: Waterside Circle and Avocet Drive
  • Stratford Bay HOA – Location: Pool area in the Stratford Bay complex
