Are you looking for a new job and are you interested in public service? Your time has come, because this coming August 2nd, San Mateo County will host the 2024 Summer Public Service Career Fair.

“Whether you are looking for professional growth, a rewarding position or an opportunity to contribute to the greater good, this job fair is the perfect opportunity to explore the possibilities,” said County Human Resources Director Rocio Kiryczun.

And, he said, there are many public sector jobs to choose from: health care, law enforcement, social services, administration, civil engineering, among many others.

“Every job has a purpose and meaning, and every day you have the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. What could be more rewarding than that?” she said.

The fair will be held on Friday, August 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 500 County Center in Redwood City. The free, outdoor event will include a diverse array of public sector employers, including county departments.
