Two bombings on homes in the northern Gaza Strip left at least 14 people dead and several wounded on Wednesday, according to Mahmoud Saber Basal, spokesman for the Civil Defense Service in the area.
Most of the people killed in the attack were women (five) and boys (three), the official said in statements reported by the German news agency Deutsche Welle.
One of the attacks took place in the Palestinian town of Jabalia, where 10 people were reported dead, while another four people were killed in a bombing in the Al-Daraj neighbourhood in central Gaza City.
