Sculpture tribute to true pandemic heroes tours Redwood City

Coronavirus sculpture by Redwood City-based Mexican artist Fernando Escártiz, supported by Japanese artist Yoshinori Asai and the Casa Círculo Cultural art class creative group. 

«This is a caravan to pay tribute to the real heroes in this pandemic, and to raise awareness in the community about the need to continue using the cover-up."He said Verónica Escámez, director of Casa Círculo Culturalthe organization responsible for the event, together with We Vote Redwood City.

The angry, red-eyed coronavirus stared at the superheroes threatening its existence above him. In the center and almost on what would be the forehead of the virus, Wonder Woman dressed in blue and white to represent doctors and nurses. 

The green and pink coronavirus had on it, 5 super heroes representing the ethnic diversity of the people who have faced the virus from their different professions and trades.
