As part of the activities of the XXIII Binational Health Week, the Consulate General of Mexico in San Jose will hold an eye exam clinic and hand out free eyeglasses to those who need them.
The event will take place on October 14, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Consulate of Mexico in San Jose, located at 302 Enzo Dr, suite 200.
All services will be provided free of charge.
In collaboration with the Lions Club organization and the participation of community volunteers, the Consulate will offer an eye exam clinic to all those who require it, regardless of their immigration status or whether they have medical coverage.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive a pair of prescription glasses based on the results of their exam, thanks to a donation of recycled eyeglasses.
The initiative aims to improve the health of the community by promoting access to eye care services, the consulate said in a statement.
To secure an appointment at this eye exam clinic, it is necessary to register and fill out a form in advance through the link: https://tinyurl.com/Clinica-de-ojos-14-de-Octubre.
