Did you miss the live broadcast? Listen to the full program

This week in For the Free, our rolling community radio, took a journey through several topics. Dr. Anna Lee Mraz told us how a multicultural peasant event in Half Moon became a bet against hate, showing that cultures as different as Chinese and Latin have come together and enriched since the tragedy.

Hans Leguizamo gave us a tour of the world of video games and told us why Roblox is so popular among children; while Peter Schurmann, journalist and editor of Ethnic Media Services, explained that, although the United States is a diverse country, currently in Arizona fascist measures are being taken against migrant communities, while California is moving towards measures that must do with improving the quality of life of migrants.

Johana Arriaga, San Mateo County Public Assistance Coordinator, updated us on the expansion of Medi-Cal, which went into effect on January 1, 2024.

In addition, Raúl Ayrala presented an interview with an electoral official from San Mateo County to learn more about the electoral process carried out this March 5.
These and other topics were covered in the program broadcast live from our mobile unit at 5th Avenue and El Camino Real in Redwood City, California.
