The Department of Redwood City Police has requested the community's help to resolve an attack on Whipple Av. that took place last Wednesday, September 20.
Authorities said in a statement that on September 20, around 11:11 p.m., it was reported that an intoxicated male subject was walking in and out of traffic on Whipple Av/Veterans.
The complainant called the police again to say that the same subject got into a fight with a couple at the Arco gas station and was left unconscious. Officers located an unconscious victim on the ground next to the gas pumps. Two witnesses said the subject was involved in a disturbance with a couple driving a blue Kia Sol at the gas station.?
According to the witness, the suspect began fighting with the victim and eventually knocked him out. The suspect began attacking the victim on the ground while he was unconscious.
Finally, the couple fled in their vehicle west on Whipple Ave., the car had Washington state plates, however, the numbers are unknown.
Suspect number one is a Hispanic adult male, around 20 years old, with short curly hair, wearing a black hoodie with the word “Cookies”, while suspect number two is a Hispanic adult woman, around 20 years old, with shoulder-length light brown hair.?
The victim was transported to Stanford Hospital for head injuries.?
