This year there will not be a mass gathering on November 1, Day of the Dead, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the organization has scheduled a virtual celebration that will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Facebook Live, in addition to other activities such as the 1st Best Catrina Competition

According to information shared on social media by Casa Cálculo Cultural, "La Catrina is better known as death and can appear in many ways. Sometimes she is found happy, dressed in an elaborate manner, wanting to have fun and even flirt with the morals. Other times, we find her in the bones, ready to take us when we least expect it."

The winners of the 1st Best Catrina Contest will be announced on November 1st through Casa Cálculo Cultural's virtual event pin on Facebook.
