This November 5th, daylight saving time ends and with it, California will set its clocks back 1 hour before going to sleep this Saturday, since starting at 2:00 a.m. this Sunday, the West Coast will wake up under standard time.
And starting at 2:00 a.m. on November 5, all smart devices will be automatically updated at 1:00 a.m., while older devices will have to be changed manually.
Daylight saving time changes are implemented with the aim of making the most of sunlight and reducing energy consumption.
