San José opens cooling centers from July 2 to 6 due to extreme heat
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning that includes San Jose from Tuesday, July 2, through Saturday, July 6, so three sites will be open beyond regular business hours to serve as “cooling centers” during this time period.

While cooling off, residents have access to bottled water, free Wi-Fi, and outlets for charging devices.
