After the city of San Francisco recently joined forces to strengthen security, especially for members of the Asian-American community, a new video was released of an attack against an elderly man belonging to said community in a laundromat in Chinatown.
According to the media ABC7The video, which is part of the establishment's closed circuit, shows the terrible attack on a 67-year-old customer, who was assaulted by three people in a laundromat at around 10 p.m. on February 23.
In the video, you can see how the older man was ambushed by three men and dragged away before being robbed of several days, all in a matter of about 45 seconds.
Violence continues in the EA despite all the efforts made by the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) and the residents themselves, who have even formed alliances to monitor and protect elderly people susceptible to this type of attack.
It is worth noting that on February 18, SFPD community liaison members distributed flyers to raise awareness about the value of the Asian-American community and thereby prevent further attacks against them. Since then, the efforts have not stopped.
