According to the AP agency, the shooter was killed by United States Secret Service agents. Fortunately, former President Trump is fine and is being examined at a medical center.

In videos circulating on social networks, you can hear the detonation of several projectiles, while you see the Republican candidate put his hand to his right ear, and then be taken to the ground by Secret Service personnel.

Steven Cheung, Trump's spokesman, thanked law enforcement and emergency services for their prompt and rapid response to the situation, while indicating that they would soon provide more details of the event.

Given what happened, President Joseph Biden declared:

“I have been informed about the shooting at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania. I am grateful to know that he is safe and well. I am praying for him and his family and for everyone who was at the rally, as we wait for more information. Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There is no place for this type of violence in the United States. “We must come together as a nation to condemn it.”
