Listen to this note:
The City of Half Moon Bay has announced its fourth annual Election Night event, providing voters with the community environment of going to the polls on Election Day by offering an evening of dining, information sharing and ballot drop-off.
All residents are invited to this family-friendly event celebrating democracy on Wednesday, October 30th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Half Moon Bay Library, located at 620 Correas St.
At the event, City staff from several departments, along with County Elections staff, the League of Women Voters and the Half Moon Bay Library, will be on hand to provide information about the voting process, along with material about City projects and specific information about programs and initiatives.
While all registered voters have been mailed a ballot since October 7, this event seeks to encourage not only voting by mail, but also voting in person.
It is worth noting that the City of Half Moon Bay will be holding a general municipal election for City Council Districts 2 and 3 on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
