The SGC-administered Community Resilience Centers program is part of $270 million in state funding to support the planning and construction of "community resilience centers" in neighborhoods that provide shelter and build community preparedness as Hazards like wildfire smoke and extreme heat are becoming more widespread and frequent in California.

Once built, the resiliency hubs will distribute resources and provide shelter during weather events and support social connection and community climate solutions through year-round programming.
