Dog dies in house fire in Redwood City, 10 displaced

A dog was killed and 10 people displaced after a house fire in Redwood City Thursday afternoon.

The fire, in the 3300 block of Bay Road, was concentrated in the attic of a home. The fire was reported around 4:00 p.m.

A Redwood City Fire Department spokesperson confirmed that a dog was killed in the fire.

An American Red Cross team arrived at the scene to help displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
