San José and Los Gatos businesses will raise funds to help Gaza

Kenz coffee shop in the city of Los Gatos and El Halal Amigos taqueria in the city of San José, two established Palestinian-owned businesses in are joining forces with the non-profit organization Islamic Relief USA to organize a fundraising event with the aim of providing urgent aid to the people of Gaza.

The event will take place this April 4 at 445 Hershner Drive, Los Gatos, at the Kenz Coffee Bar. 

All proceeds from tacos sold by El Halal Amigos, as well as specialty coffee drinks sold by Kenz Coffee Bar, this Thursday will go towards humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza, where Palestinians continue to face horrific atrocities every year. days. 

The establishments noted that, in collaboration with Islamic Relief USA, every contribution made at this event will directly benefit those in need.

Dr. Mohammad Subeh, founder of Kenz Coffee Roasters and emergency physician, will be one of the speakers at the event. 

Subeh recently returned from a five-week medical mission in Gaza, where he witnessed firsthand the internal and external wounds, challenges and difficulties faced by the people of Gaza, so his insights and experiences will shed light on the urgency of this humanitarian crisis and the impact of collective support.

?We are deeply committed to supporting our brothers and sisters in Gaza now more than ever in these difficult times. Through this event, we aim not only to raise funds but, more importantly, to raise awareness about the crisis that is developing in Gaza,” both establishments highlighted in a statement.
