East Palo Alto police are investigating the death of a man found with gunshot wounds Tuesday night, according to a news release issued by the department this morning.
According to the document, officers responded to a call at 7:57 p.m. reporting shots fired in the 1600 block of Bay Road, where they found a 33-year-old man with gunshot wounds lying on the ground in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Menlo Park Fire Protection District paramedics provided medical attention to the man, but he died at the scene from his injuries.
Police have withheld the victim's name pending notification of next of kin.
