Man stabbed in Redwood City; police seek information

Redwood City. A man suffered fatal injuries in a stabbing outside of
a grocery store in the city on Sunday night, police said.

The officers responded at 7:24 p.m. to a call from someone who was in
In front of the Safeway store in the Sequoia Station shopping center at 1000 El Camino Real, they arrived to find a wounded man in the entrance of the Safeway.

The man, who was taken to Stanford Hospital, had two wounds to his chest and one to his right arm.

The suspect fled after the stabbing and was described as a
a light-skinned man between 30 and 40 years old, of medium build and with short hair.
