In the midst of a tense atmosphere, presidential voting in the Mayor's Office of Bogota is taking place with great expectations on the part of voters who are registering and exercising their vote during this Sunday of elections in Colombia, where the population will decide who will be their next president.
According to Ingrid Sanchez, for Global Exchange and Peninsula 360 Press, the vast majority of voters, who are showing great enthusiasm around the polling places, state that they are looking forward to the results in favor of the Pacto Histórico ticket.
However, the perception of the electoral mood among some voters in the area differs since, for some, the exalted climate is a scenario for fraud to take place, while for others, everything is calm.
The majority of the population who have gone to vote do so with the hope that the election results will favor Gustavo Petro, in whom they place their hopes that "he will put an end to hunger and insecurity in the region", since they affirm that, otherwise, if Rodolfo Hernández, candidate for the presidency with the League of Anti-Corruption Rulers, were to win, social inequality would prevail.
