Days should not be sad and boring because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Redwood City community knows that. That's why, in collaboration with the Veterans Memorial Senior Center in conjunction with Travonde Entertainment Company, the first "Zoom Day" will be held, with virtual activities for seniors.
From 9 a.m. this Wednesday, November 18, until 4:30 p.m., activities will be held online and free of charge for seniors. The topics are varied; from nutrition to mandolin concerts, and how to stay physically active during the forties.
This is the first in a series of virtual events that will be held on a monthly basis to provide new options for Redwood City seniors.
To enjoy these activities, all you have to do is register at the following web page: travonde.com ? There, you will find the different activities that will take place, as well as their schedule and duration.
These activities are supervised by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services department of the city council, in the desire to create a greater bond for the valuable community.
"These activities, focusing on programs, activities and information, are dedicated and available to the growing multicultural aging population, their caregivers and families," notes the welcome page for the first Zoom Day.
