About the Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is one of the most important holidays of Asian heritage, usually celebrated with large family gatherings, gift-giving, eating symbolic foods and displaying festive decorations, all focused on bringing good luck for the New Year and celebrating the imminent arrival of spring.

This 2022 corresponds to the Year of the Tiger.

According to travelchinaguide.com, the Tiger ranks third in the Chinese zodiac signs. Tigers, considered brave, cruel, forceful and terrifying, are the symbol of power and lordship in Chinese culture. In ancient times, people used to compare emperors or kings to tigers.

This Chinese zodiac sign corresponds to those born in the years 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022, 2034...

The lucky colors for this year will be gray, blue, white, and orange; while, according to experts on the subject, those that will attract bad luck are gold, silver, and brown tones.

In the case of numbers, the good luck numbers will be 1, 3, 4; bad luck: 6, 7, 8.

The flowers to attract abundance and good wishes will be Cineraria and Anthuriums.

The best compatibility of the tiger sign is with the signs Dragon, Horse, Pig; while the worst compatibility is with Snake and Monkey.

The 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac are in sequence: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.

If you were born in the year of the Tiger...

These people have uncommon courage and confidence, people born in the Year of the Tiger are natural leaders and can always courageously implement brilliant ideas. They are also generous, passionate and possess a strong sense of justice. When they encounter the weak or see something unfair, Tigers stand up and offer help.

Tigers are people who dare to love and hate. If a friend does something wrong, they can point it out directly. Boldness also makes them rebellious, stubborn and arbitrary in life, so they do not find it easy to follow the advice of others.
