Crews restored water flow to residents of El Camino Real and Madison Avenue in Redwood City early Sunday, Sept. 24, several hours after a water main broke in the area the night before.
Redwood City Public Works and PG&E crews were in the area of El Camino Real and Madison Avenue to repair the water main break that was first reported by Redwood Police around 7:58 p.m. Saturday. Crews completed the repair work around 4:23 a.m. Sunday.
A southbound lane of El Camino Real between Madison and Vera avenues that had to be closed due to the water main break was also reopened to traffic, Redwood police said.
