The first major storm of the season is expected to hit the Bay Area between Tuesday and Thursday of the first week, a storm that will bring up to five centimeters of rain from Marin County to Santa Cruz, reported the National Meteorological Service.
The expected storm follows a low pressure system originating in the Gulf of Alaska and is expected to move down the West Coast as part of an active, progressive pattern that could last until mid-month.
