Listen to this note:
The virtual president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, described as profane the language of the former president and Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States, Donald Trump, who at the start of his formal campaign expressed himself disparagingly of former Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard.
During his first rally with vice presidential candidate JD Vance, held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Trump allegedly referred to former Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, whom he described as a low IQ person.
The former president recalled when he threatened the Mexican government with tariffs and they gave them soldiers for the border.
?President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is no longer president of Mexico? Trump said, and without saying his name, he pointed out that Ebrard should consult the proposals presented in their meeting, and then he came back and said: Mr. President, we would love to give you soldiers to protect your wall, tax-free, of course. They gave us everything, I won, I got everything from Mexico?, he said.
Immediately afterwards Trump is heard saying: "So, this stupid person with a low IQ, a person with a low IQ, I guarantee you he is the lowest IQ, 50 or 60, and he is negotiating against Putin, President Xi of China, Macron of France? He then recalled when he negotiated with Macron on tariffs, but at that moment he was no longer referring to Ebrard, but to Biden.
Given this, Sheinbaum wrote on his X account:
?I regret the foul language of former President Trump, and I certainly disagree with the opinion he has about Marcelo Ebrard, for me he is one of the best public servants in Mexico and will be a great Secretary of Economy of our country, who no one should forget, it is free and sovereign?

Added to this response was that of the also next Secretary of Economy, who responded that things are taken from whoever comes, and that he was not intimidated by what was said, in addition to the fact that, during the electoral season, what is sought are followers.
When they insult you in the campaign, as former President Trump just did, there is always an electoral purpose: to gain followers. I will never accept qualification from a candidate abroad. It doesn't intimidate me. I will defend the interests of Mexico with all dignity and firmness.
