An intensive investigation resulted in the identification of 32-year-old Jorge Daniel Gomez, a resident of San Carlos, as the shooter.

Gomez was booked into San Mateo County Jail on charges of attempted murder, negligent discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as possession of a controlled substance with a firearm and methamphetamine for sale.
