Search for suspect who groped woman in Half Moon Bay
The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who groped a woman in Half Moon Bay.

Authorities are investigating after a woman was groped while walking over the weekend on a trail near Smith Field Park in Half Moon Bay.

The attack was reported around 7 p.m. Saturday on a trail just south of the park, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

“The woman was walking east on the trail when the suspect walked past her, got off his bike and grabbed her inappropriately,” the sheriff's office said in a news release.

The woman screamed and the suspect walked away. He is described as a Hispanic male, wearing a black hoodie, black shorts and black high socks.
