Pharmaceutical company Pfizer and German biotechnology company BioNTech announced on Wednesday that, according to an initial laboratory study, a third dose of their COVID-19 vaccine increases neutralizing antibodies and is effective against the icron variant, similar to that obtained by the first doses with respect to previous variants.
