San Mateo County has partnered with health care provider Carbon Health to conduct up to 2,000 COVID-19 tests daily at the San Mateo County Event Center.
Carbon Health will be providing PCR testing at the Event Center starting this Tuesday, February 1, and walk-in access will be allowed or if you prefer, you can register online at https://forms.flowhealth.com/220267683087159.
Testing will be available Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Event Center. The entrance to the testing site is located at 2701 South Delaware St., San Mateo.
Testing is free, and patients are asked for identification, if possible.
County Manager Mike Callagy said in a statement that the county already has a relationship with Carbon Health, as they helped open a mass vaccination site at San Francisco International Airport and other county clinics.
Carbon Health development director Nita Sommers said in a statement that the site can administer between 1,500 and 2,000 tests per day and expects to provide results within 48 hours.
The County will work with Carbon Health for one month with the possibility of extensions depending on the situation.
