The Mayor of San Francisco, London Breed, the city expects tourism recovery in San Francisco to increase to 21.5 million visitors, which is 26.5 percent more than in 2021.
That, he said, is largely due to conventions at the Moscone Center, which held 33 events this year, compared with five last year.
Through his Twitter account, he specified that last week, the Gainsight Pulse Convention attracted 2,500 business leaders from around the world to San Francisco, and this week the Explore Convention brings 10,000 additional attendees to the city, while the Dreamforce convention will arrive in September, all at the Moscone Center.
In this regard, he highlighted that 2023 looks like a promising outlook.
