This Sunday, June 25, San Francisco celebrated its 53rd annual Pride parade, one of the most outstanding events of the celebrations in the country, which makes visible and fights for the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community, which is believed to have been attended by around 250,000 people.

Thus, national and foreign residents and visitors of all ages joined the colorful celebration, in which flags, floats, necklaces, and fun costumes were the perfect garnish.

The massive event was attended by the mayor of San Francisco, London Breed, and the former speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.

People have tried over and over and over again to tear our city apart, but for us who are here, we know what we stand for, we know what our values are," Mayor London Breed said in a short speech at the Market Street parade. .

Dressed in colorful clothing and carrying a rainbow flag, she recalled that while members of the LGBTQ+ community of any age are being attacked in states like Texas, Florida or Tennessee, San Francisco has achieved milestones in terms of rights protection for them.
