"Beyond Death": Redwood City is covered in mysticism

Pamela Cruz. Peninsula 360 Press [P360P].

Surrounded by an air of mysticism, the library has organized a virtual event in which the topic "Beyond Death", from medical aspects to meditation, will be addressed by Dr. Matthew Raider.

Thus, on Thursday, December 3, at 2:30 p.m., via Zoom, the specialist will seek for the participants to connect in a natural way with their inner light, the same light that those who have experienced a near-death experience talk about.

According to the doctor specialized in geriatrics "the connection with the inner light which is sought to reach, will be made through a simple method of traditional meditation".

Dr. Raider draws parallels between near-death experiences and those lived by people who meditated over the centuries, from all backgrounds, countries, religions and traditions, the library said in a brief statement.

He also indicates that the specialist gives the audience the opportunity to learn a simple meditation technique that can allow them to experience the peace and light that people who have had near-death experiences talk about.

Of note, Dr. Raider graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1979, maintains a clinical practice in geriatric medicine and held a faculty position at the University of Connecticut Medical School, and coordinated the geriatrics curriculum for the Middlesex Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program for over 30 years.

He is currently medical director of four Connecticut health care centers. He has lectured extensively on the subject at hospitals and other venues in the U.S. and Canada, and is also a contributing author of Rajinder Singh's Meditation as Medicine for the Soul.

To join the conference, simply log in to the Zoom digital application, using the meeting ID 987 9528 2733.
