What must have been an incredible day in "the happiest place on earth," as many call it Disneyland, became sad and unpleasant for a woman and her son who, while speaking Spanish, were attacked with insults and racist attitude by another visitor to the amusement park in Southern California.

?I can't believe it's 2023 and we're mired in hate and intolerance, but this person wasn't even subtle or hiding it. We were enjoying his birthday at Disneyland and while we were heading to the park, these people yelled at my son and me for speaking Spanish?, this is how Eva Ramírez announced it through a video on TikTok.

The video that quickly went viral through that and other social networks, shows Eva showing a woman and saying in English And this person to head me speak Spanish and said: "You?re af*ckig mexican, right?" ? Repeat what you said?? (and this person, upon hearing me speak Spanish, told me: "You're a fucking Mexican, right? Repeat what you told me?").

?She yelled several racist things before I recorded. I told him: "I'm sorry you think that way, not everyone who speaks Spanish is Mexican, but since you're so proud let me record you." The individual in the black shirt agreed with everything the woman in the gray shirt shouted. Once she heard me say that I will record, she went quiet. "You can't educate, you can't inform, you can only expose them," he wrote in his account where he announced the incident that occurred in the bathroom of the amusement park.

The video, which lasts 1 minute and 57 seconds, shows Eva confronting the woman who verbally attacked her, who repeated in English: "This is America, and you are speaking Spanish in America," until at one point she says: "I hate To the Mexicans, it's the truth, there you have it?

Eva Ramírez, who was accompanied by her son, points out in the video that she can speak Spanish to whoever she wants, and that she is free to speak Spanish anywhere.

?People can go about their daily lives regardless of the language they hear spoken, but they prefer to be rude to a two-year-old child and his mother. The larger bathrooms there are also for mothers with children and clearly have no signs of handicap. Of course, the immediate attempt to victimize themselves once they are caught in the act?, he wrote.

Disneyland has not made any statement regarding the incident, nor did anything about it at the time.

"Disneyland security said they couldn't ask them to leave the park because it was just a verbal confrontation and to avoid lawsuits from the other party," Eva said.

?I'm sharing this because racism starts at home. People have access to various resources, but still make a conscious decision to remain ignorant. Normally I would ignore someone like that, but in the presence of my son, no one will yell at him or me, what language to speak?, he pointed out.
