Listen to this note:

Claudia Sheinbaum has the support of Mexicans abroad in her race for the presidency of Mexico, which will be decided at the polls on June 2. They launched a platform that seeks to publicize the coalition candidate's project “Let's Keep Making History” and connect all those who are outside the country and are in favor of her proposals.

“One person can only help, but a network of people can transform. Near you there are hundreds of people who want to be part of the transformation and help our Mexico, but they don't know about you, nor do you know about them. That's why we created Claudialízate", to unite communities that want to be part of the history of Mexico, regardless of their place of residence?" says an informative video about the platform.

"Claudialize yourself?" It was promoted by a group in the United States called "Red Migrante", who, among other actions, seeks to promote the vote of Mexicans abroad, informs them how to do it and why it is important.

According to the description disseminated on the official website of the initiative, Claudialízate is:

Behind ?Claudialízate? There are citizens, students, artists, businessmen, indigenous leaders, pro-migrant activists, human rights defenders, dreamers, among others.

Among the main ones are: Judith Marvan, based in Paris, France; Manuel Ortiz, Mexican sociologist, academic and community journalist based in California, USA; Teresa García, also in the American union; Manuel Valencia, in Siena, Italy; Catalina Sánchez in Los Angeles, California; Christopher Castillo, businessman and political consultant in California; Marisol Reynoso, in Houston, Texas; Armando Rangel in Denver, Colorado; and Cándido Nieto, a law graduate in South Texas.

The page specifies that action groups can be formed by area or by interest profile (for example, students or artists).

There are 2 types of groups:

  • Local action groups are formed on the scale of a small territory, a street, a neighborhood, a municipality. Anyone can create or join a local action group, and there can be many groups in the same area.
  • Profile action groups are created by platform administrators and bring together people based on their profile. In order to participate in these groups, your profile and areas of interest must be indicated in the settings.
